Thankfully our hay supplier has plenty of hay for our use and has agreed to store it. Unfortunately we have 22 burros, horses, and a mule that are provided free choice hay. We also assist community horse owners with round bales when their horses would otherwise go without.
We are estimating a cost of $3,500 for our herd and $2,750 for the community fund.

Branded Items - We have a supplier for some clothing items with our logo. Options currently include sweatshirts, t-shirts, tanks, coffee cups, baby items, and bumper stickers. $2.50 from every item purchased is returned to Second Chances. |

PayPal - We also have a PayPal account to send donations. This is sometimes easier because you do not have to sign up for an account to use this service. Please consider using the Friends and Family option so that we are not charged any additional fees. |

Meet Winslow!
Winslow is a 1998 Mule gelding who has to have the most fabulous demeanor possible. Less than 24 hours after his arrival we needed to provide cold weather blankets and Winslow helped us place his - even though he did not know us yet. We are currently managing his rehabilitation and he comes to us with a sponsor (Thank you Mary). We will decide Winslow's adoption availability at a later date. |

Calling All Volunteers
We welcome motivated Volunteers in every area. We are in need of individuals who have riding experience, fundraising, grant writing, and event planning. We also need qualified individuals in areas such as plumbing, electrical, and construction for a few specific projects. Start by signing up for your Volunteer Orientation today! If you have zero experience with horses but still want to help us meet our mission goals please let us know.

Available Horses
Most of our available list in in the pictures above. They can all be viewed on our website or Facebook page. Our availables range from the two bonded burros to a few horses that have not been started to horses that have had excellent training but definitely require a refresher.
